Intro & New Features

CCM has produced new protective gear at the recreational level in 2023. The new CCM "Next" line is designed to be a reliable, durable and protective line of hockey gear at the recreational level. The Next line is built to be lightweight and keep players cool and dry on the ice, while still providing players with protection from impacts.

External Material

Built with high quality 210D Nylon with lightweight polyester, this design on the panels give a pro-inspired look at the recreational level. The breathable and durable material on the pants allow for more airflow throughout the pants, keeping them lightweight and reliable. Additionally, the anatomical fit is a durable and lightweight design, which is ideal for recreational players of any age.

Thigh Protection

With the use of molded PE plastic, this material helps keep impacts away and allows player to engage and get in the way of pucks battles along the boards and even blocking shots without a worry. They also incorporate the use of PE foams to provide an additional level of comfort and high-level protection at the recreational level.

Hip & Kidney Protection

The padding on the hip & kidney area is made of PE foams, which is designed and inserted inside the pants to provide an additional level of comfort and support when on the ice. The CCM Next line also includes molded PE caps, which provides a good level of protection in the kidney area to keep players covered and supported while on the ice.

Spine Protection

The lower portion of the spine has been reinforced and designed to provide high-level protection at the recreational level. For protection, the Next pants feature PE foams. This design provides a comfortable fit and feel while keeping you protected and not worrying about injuries from impacts. The PE insert protector itself provides an additional level of protection on-top of the foams, making these pants a reliable option.

Belt/Lace Closure

The pants are equipped with a built-in, lace front, and padded belt. The wide opening, and stretchable front panels make it easy to adjust and tighten the pants to players own needs.

Liner

The Next hockey pants feature a sublimated comfort liner, which is a rich liner in the tailpad and provides instant and lasting comfort as players continue to wear these pants. The liner also absorbs sweat and other moistures away, which keeps the pants and continues on with the lightweight feel.
